My Linux server just died last night after 528 days uptime. Im doing a fresh install tommorow but I need to know about bandwidth throttling. I have 5 static IP's and am on my cable company's business network. I need to limit the bandwidth on the server though so it can act as a webserver but still not impact other computers at my home from having quick internet access.

I have intermediate linux skills. Any links to quick and dirty guides would be appreciated. I will be installing FC3.

Thanks in advance

If you are only concerned with "throttling" your web-server (Apache) bandwidth, there is an Apache module to do that.

This link shows you how to do install and configure bandwidth throttling for Apache.
