Hi,
I'd like to insall LogSentry onto my Fedora Core 3 machine, but haven't found it in any of the Yum repos I use yet. Can anyone tell me what I'll need to install it, and is it fairly straight forward to set up?

Thanks in advance,
Spudgun.

Well, I'd first try enabling all repos and checking to see if Yum does have it somewhere. If not, at least use a .rpm version of it from here: http://rpmfind.net/linux/RPM/PLD/dists/ra/PLD/i386/PLD/RPMS/logsentry-1.1.1-1.i386.html
I've never used it, so can't help you on that one, but if you follow the instructions for rpm's http://www.rpm.org/max-rpm/s1-intro-to-rpm-lets-get-started.html, you should be okay (or at least know what dependency issues are involved).

Of course. What LogSentry does is keep an eye on your log files, and emails you when it see's anything suspicious. Pretty handy, I'm sure you'll agree. :)
