Jagged Screen (not rendered properly?)

As titled, comparing with WinXP and SuSE, why my FC3 has problem rendering image?
e.g. a wallpaper with dark to ligh tone, instead of showing smooth toning, I see lines and lines of jagged image.

And it doesn't happened to WinXP and SuSE

Please advice

really need someone to look into this and give advice.... as i was having the same trouble since FC2.... :(

Is it a color problem, or a sharpness problem? For sharpness there maybe some way to enable antialiasing, but I don't know what that is.

Do you have a link to an example image?

the same image will display wonderful if booting on WindowsXP, but jagged on Fedora. So there will be no point of putting up a screenshot. hmmm... need advice and help
