Install FC3 using my HardDisk Drive as Source Path

For now, im using Mandrake v10 as my Operating System and Im planning to try the FC3 flavor of Linux. My problem lies when I finished copying all files (Disk 1 - 4 contents) on the "C:\Cooker" directory of my newly formatted Presario drive, I want to install FC3 using the drive as my source installation path..
How could this be done, do I still need to copy a boot disk files on a certain site like that of the Mandrake to initiate the installation process? If so, what site would help me on this?.....

You have to obtain a boot.img for the distribution
http://ftp.nluug.nl/pub/os/Linux/distr/fedora/3/i386/os/images/boot.iso (About 5Mb)

Note: I have done this using a Vfat file system using an external hardisk and not sure if it will recognize NTFS!
But as you're using Mandrake I don't think this will be a problem

You can start the install by inserting the boot.iso.

When the command line starts enter linux expert

You will be given the possibility to select the source of the packages
Select the harddisk

Next you can select the drive and enter the directory (Cooker) where the images are stored, all in the one directory and as .iso.
