I am trying to install Fedora 3 on my laptop, but no luck. When I insert Fedora boot cd, on booting system does not read it and just goes to Windows. However, if I insert Windows XP cd, system boots from it. I know Linux cd works because I used it to install Fedora on my desktop a few days ago and updated Linux today with it. Any suggestions? The difference between Linux and Windows boot cd is that Linux is DVD and Windows is CD.
thanks a lot,

what speed did you burn the DVD at? some DVD/CD-rw players have problems with the writing speeds. All depends on the model, age and yes, even the color of the DVD you used to burn with.
