Hello,

i just bought a new acer laptop (travelmate 2200) and was hoping to put fedora on to it, but it freezes when installing, when the menu about checking the the cd's comes up it won't respond, no keys work, at all.

I currently have slackware running on it, that install went fine.

I don't think it's the cd, i have tried a couple different ones

did you make sure the md5 sums worked?

i did indeed check, they where correct

i have had this same problem with ubuntu, the minute the menu's come up i lose the keyboard... but slackware worked fine ... weird.
