Hey everyone, I just wanted to say thank you. I finally understand how all this Linux stuff works well at least the basics. I for the second time in my life feel complete control over my computer and it was because of the guidence this forum has provided. At first I was really frustrated because I had become so reliant on the M beast and the operations it performed without my knowledge that to have contol again was uneasy. The only question I have now is what do I have to learn in order to help developing and improving on Open Source Software? Once again, Thanks

Use it, break it, report bugs (not here, of course), sign up to work on (insert program/package of choice) projects as anything (developer, debugger, web-site maintainer, help writer, etc.). Show it off. Help others solve their problems. It's a continual learning process - there's never a point where you can say "I now know it all" - because somebody is gonna make a big improvement elsewhere that will completely turn previous assumptions upside down (HAL comes to mind - pretty damn sweet!).

Glad this place was of help to you.

Check out the Fedora participation page (http://fedora.redhat.com/participate/) if you want to help out, whether on helping others or developing.
