As we know fglrxconfig is useless for fc3, because it writes XFree file insted of xorg.conf ..

so I found on the internet an xorg.conf file very much looking like the XFree86-4

I can set my tv-out in this xorg.conf file, but I have troubles doing it correctly...

I want to set up an extended desktop with (I guess) one framebuffer, with the resolution on my lcd monitor 1024x768 and 800x600 on the TV with a PAL-B standard..

Anybody knows how to modify it correctly ??

The fglrxconfig is not useless, you just have to either rename the file it creates to xorg.conf (remember to back up you old xorg.conf incase something goes wrong) or copy over the sections that you need (my choice, IMO fglrxconfig creates a cluttered file - I like the layout of the one generated by Fedora better)... Both files are located in /etc/X11/ so you shouldn't have any trouble finding them.

hope that helps

replacing or linking leads to an error in the input area, I'll try copying parts .

oh and I remembered: what to put in fglrxconf for the tv-out refresh rates ?
