ALSA Problem

Hey,

I am experiencing a problem with FC-3 running the latest linux core.
The problem occured after I updated my system, I guess it's because a linux core changes.
My Laptop is an HP Pavillion 3447.
The onboard sound is based on the Analog Devices 1981B chip.
ALSA detects it as snd-intel8x0.
I have tried all ALSA updates, played with the volume control as suggested on other threads,
But still, the only audio output I get is from the Headphones slot(not the cdrom slot).
Is there any way to switch output from headphones to the built-in speakers?
Any other ideas?
