Greetings/Salutations,
Just wanted to say hello to everyone and that I'm new to this site and new to Fedora. I'm a recent convert to Linux Revolution and I haven't turned back. I've been installing/deinstalling distro's on my Alienware Laptop and have decided to stick w/ Fedora. So, warning of warnings, this is my intro, pls be kind! :)

Hello and wooooowww, expensive poppy! I purchased a compaq presario 2103us amd athlon xp 2800+ ati video driver, 30gb hd, 256mb (+512 more I added), dvd/cd-burner and 15" display for $699 (+ $90 for extra ram) so about $840.
Thats about $500-600 less. Alienware is nice though :p

Yeah, I was greedy and stupid, I've learned my lesson on that one, for now on its cheap, but ya see I'm military, did a TDY to a "danger zone" area, received $$$$$ for my tour and I thought what the heck? :)
But I've learned to go through Dell for now on for most of my comp needs, not b/c I like Dell but b/c they are military friendly, school (college) friendly and I get discounts... yippee... :)
