Unable to install FC3:
I can boot on the first CD an see the first splash with the F key options
but when start linux + any comand option it go to the first blue scren "wellcom to fedora core 3" "CD found" mediacheck and it hangs.

The CD is ok , tested in other PC without problem.
I try so many optins including "noprobe" and still the same problem
I can boot and run the old linux RH 7.3 CD OK .

you used mediacheck? hmm.. well, in my experience, i had done that.. crashes/fails.. but when i skipped it, directly installed.. no problems at all. But still, it is probable that the hardware has the problem.

yeah i've got a usb mouse hooked up now, i had a usb keyboard during the install and i couldnt use it, the only reason i knew was because the keyboard glows blue and it just shut off when i touched a button on it lol, but it took my logitech usb mouse right off

there's an option to skip mediacheck upon booting the cd. I think there really is a prompt for every distribution?
