I use Privoxy + Tor. Together these allow me to secure my anonymity.
Just follow this guide on how to do it. You can exclude the emerge, and a few other little things, but for the most part it's a good guide

Download Tor Here (http://tor.eff.org/dist/rpm/tor-0.0.9.2-tor.0.fc1.i386.rpm)

And Use "yum install privoxy"
to install privoxy.
