SoundBlaster Live 24bit

Happy New Year!!!
I recently bought a soundblaster live 24bit. The autodetection can't detect the sound card.
lspci returns: 01:09.0 Multimedia audio controller: Creative Labs SB Audigy LS
I update my alsalib to 1.0.7
Nothing!!!
Could You Please Help me???

I recently purchased the same card, but have not successfully got it to work yet.

From what I understand so far, the card needs the Emu10k1 Driver. Use this link for the driver page link and some rough directions on how to load it.

I have downloaded the driver, but I get all kinds of terminal error messages when I type "make" to start the install. If you get any farther, please post your results.
