Go into the start menu, select system tools and click on Internet Configuration Wizard. Select modem connection and the wizard will guide you through the rest.

Right i went in through that and set up the connection, but i don't have any idea as to what it is connecting at. i am kinda wanting a program i cna run like kppp, that way i can see what my connection is actually doing. I like to see the rate of connection, if the modem is working, etc....
Anything you can think of?

Install KPPP from here http://fedora.multikabel.nl/fedora/redhat/8.0/i386/RPMS.updates/kppp-3.0.5a-1.i386.rpm
