fc xp dual boot on inspiron 9100

Just ordered dell inspiron 9100 with 2nd hrd drv on which to install fedora. Would welcome advice from others with successful installations - I have ATI Radeon 128mb and want to use dual monitors from dvi & vga ports. Judging by previous posts, FC1 is more reliable. What are likely problems in making it dual-boot with xp-pro - my past experience with dual boot installations is that grub doesn't detect xp and one needs to edit code.

If you install on MBR, it will detect windows partition

Hey- I've got the same machine as you and am running XP and FC2 (same HD though). I've got everything up and running in FC2 (not the wirless though, been too lazy so far). Anyway, if you have a config question, I might be able to help.

The file below is for the following hardware:
-The ATI Mobility 9700 w/128mb RAM
-The Dell 1680x1050 resolution LCD
-An external LCD with 1280x1024 resolution
-The LCD is to the right of the laptop
-The mouse is a Microsoft Intellimouse explorer

The line Option "xinerama" under ServerLayout is optional and serves only to have one large desktop across the 2 monitors (a la Windowx XP) instead of 2 separate KDE (or Gnome) desktops which don't allow window sharing.
