FC2 installation problems

Can I prevent disk depreciation with installing bool loader to floppy disk and booting from it? Whereto I will boot linux and check/compare CHS numbers with those, saved befor installation. And I will then install grub to disk MBR. Did trying somebody this rise? /Sorry for my English ;) / I red, the problem is only in installer, if I understand right the problem/

Sounds like you are being cautious about the partition table problem. Good.

You can choose not to install a bootloader. You will have to get a boot disk or something instead.

The installer should mention the problem early in the process. It will complain about some partition table or something.
