Hi,
it has been a few years since I'm using Linux. Started with RH 9 and now the new FC 3. But it has occured to me that nothing has changed on the way Linux displays certain fonts. Even as I speak most fonts I view in Firefox annoy me becouse they aren't verry smooth. I allready added ttf fonts but you allmost can't see the diffrence.
wouldn't it be time that Linux systems addapt to the new Fonts in X? without the user having to start searching what the problem is? I saw in diffrent forums that a lot of users have the same "problem" .
Maybe this could be an id to use in FC4 ;)
