Just a few comments

Double clicking on the link now works fror me. Did not change any settings to media files.
Did not have any problems with other rpm files when double clicking on the link that start up real audio

Still having problems with output

Can do a search the very first time. and get messages from yum.
On closing output and executing a searc again
a small window appears with gey background
no further output is availble until Yum extender is closed down and restarted again.

I installed the new version 0.21 over .2 0 should it be removed first??

I have tried to change the mime setting for .rpm on my hosted web server , may be i have solved the problem.

Don't close the output windows by clicking om 'X', use the "ESC" key or minimize the windows.
I having problems capturing the 'delete_event' created when pressing the 'X' so the window not will be destroyed, but just hidden.

There is no problems in updating from 0.20 to 0.21, no need to remove 0.20 first.

great work :D I guess I should go around asking everybody "do you yumex".
Anyway you can implement this option
clean [ packages | headers | metadata | cache | all ]

Also, I am unable to execute the command "yum --exclude=yum update" with yumex. The output that was excuted was "yum update -exlcude=yum". I will be nice if you can exclude some packages from been upgraded

This is just a very minor request. Please place a version number somewhere so prople like me can know what version is currently installed, and so when we forget if we have the latest version, we can check. :-)

Alternately, is there a way to have Yum Extender check for, and update itself?

Regards,

Stephen

I will add a version number in the next release, may be i will create at yum repository, so it can be updated by yum.

I have thought about implementing sub commands like 'clean packages', 'list all' etc.
