Gareth shows that he actually can write more that one-liners at http://www.madpenguin.org/cms/html/47/1570.html

Overall, I would tend to agree that FC2 is a leap above FC1, but I wouldn't trust a production (or a novice user) with it: there's just too many major/minor tweaks that you have to do to get a fully-functional system. Which is to be expected, since there were so many major changes (kernel, alsa, etc.)

My other biggest "gripe:" some of us do not like BlueCurve. I appreciate the effort into making a unifying desktop environment, but my personal opinion is that the icons look like badly drawn cartoons. I was a bit dismayed that OpenOffice was tweaked with BlueCurve icons. It's not going to stop me from using it, but I don't have to like it... :D

The review is very good, as espected really. I direct people to that review if they ask about Fedora now. Great.

Nice review. It serves as an introduction to Fedora.

On Bluecurve: it's a decent theme. I use it.

I am waiting for openoffice.org native widgets (http://people.redhat.com/dcbw/).
