View Full Version : Some qeustions about /var/www/html/

Hi All,
I want to organized my web-pages, If I create directory( folders ) to sort my .php .html
I cannot open it once I have put them into folder. How to solve it?

I have about 30 *.php and *.html in my ../html
it is hard to manage, I decide to create folder to group them
ie create myphp/ and myhtml
but when I try to access them in web-browzer( ~myaddress/myphp/some.php, it cannot do so? Can anyone give help? :D

That's a nice guide smfinley, but basic PHP should work striaght away if you installed the relevant packages from the Fedora disks.

What does /var/log/httpd/error_log and /var/log/httpd/access_log say?

(I'm assuming you have a file /var/www/html/php/some.php and type http://127.0.0.1/php/some.php in your browser)

I have fellowed the installation notes to configurate my Fedora,
But I cannot do is that I cannot add folder to hold my *.php or *.html because there cannot be accessed by web-browzer.
Is that I need to config. something?
