Hello Fedora Users! The Unofficial Fedora FAQ (http://www.fedorafaq.org) has been updated for Fedora Core 3! This means that it has some new questions answered for Fedora Core 3 users, and it also has a new yum.conf for Fedora Core 3.

The old Fedora Core 2 FAQ has been archived at: http://www.fedorafaq.org/fc2/

This update also brings a new feature to fedorafaq.org, the Fedora Basics FAQ (http://www.fedorafaq.org/basics/). This FAQ answers basic questions about Linux and Fedora, such as "How do I open a terminal?" or "What is rescue mode and how do I boot into it?"

As always, I'm looking to add more useful information to the Fedora Basics FAQ and the Unofficial Fedora FAQ. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to contribute! You can read how to at http://www.fedorafaq.org/contribute/

Have fun!

Hahahahaha, "I love you too, man!" :D (You have to sort of imagine me doing an impression of my fellow Californian surfer dudes, saying that.)

Let me know if you have any suggestions or anything for any other questions that you'd like to have up there! I think the "How do I become root?" question should be partifcularly useful. :-)

Hello,

I've already contacted Max with FedoraFAQ.org to find out what happened

I was googling for fedorafaq mirror and I found one here.

http://www.thehouse.org.au/fedorafaq/fc3faq.html

UPDATE:
I also mirrored that site to our FedoraNEWS.ORG just in case :)

It was a DNS issue. It should be resolved, now, since I've moved the DNS to my personal servers. I'm also going to be moving the site. If it's not already fixed for you, it may just take 48 hours for your DNS servers to properly update themselves.

If you're curious, the new authoritative nameserver for fedorafaq.org is ns1.trusthosting.net.

Max, your email with the fedorafaq domain can't be reached from our fedoraq adresses.

Max, your email with the fedorafaq domain can't be reached from our fedoraq adresses.

That's because Ewdi incorrectly set up my NS to be ns*.ewdi.org on his local neologic machine, where your mail is coming from... the correct NS is ns*.trusthosting.net. I've emailed him about it a few times, but he hasn't responded yet.

OK! I sent it from my kanat.us address to your nelogic.com address.
