For those that missed this on the Devel list:

I have installed this on F17, it is awesome!

reminds me of this, which was (is?) working quite well also:
Yum Fast Downloader plugin (http://hedayatvk.wordpress.com/2011/05/11/introducing-yum-fast-downloader-plugin/)

Nice feature, although I think that parallel presto delta rebuilding (multi-core) would give a much bigger gain.
Downloading always tops out where the local rebuild gets to about 30 % of that number.
I don't know how feasible it is though.

What I'd want is:
1) show the delta rpm download number of bytes before it gets to the Y/N prompt, there's lots of times I'm at a wireless cafe and want to do a yum update but don't want to do a huge hoggy download. I'd like to see if the presto size is huge or small before I commit to the download
2) lots of times Cntrl+C doesn't work right, maybe that last bullet on their list is going to fix that.

In addition to parallel downloading and multicore delta rebuilds, if possible I'd like to see yum download the non-delta RPMs while it's doing the delta rebuild. I think a little bit of time could be shaved off the overall process by doing this.

I would like to know presto final size before i hit Y, and I dont think parallel downloading is a big feature.
