This never happened before. I always dual boot Ubuntu and Fedora and use Grub from Ubuntu. I have just installed Ubuntu 12.04 amd_64.
Grub menu does not detect nor list Fedora installation. Fedora 17 grub is installed to its own / partition. Earlier, I had installed Fedora 17 and its Grub to the HD and then went on to install Ubuntu 12.04 and let the installation replace Fedora Grub... like I have been doing in the past.

Yet, Ubuntu Grub does not detect Fedora at all.

Any help is welcome.

Mount the Fedora partition when running Ubuntu and then try updating grub.

Ayup. And if you run a separate /boot partition, mount that too.

Thanks all.

I figured that out. I had to mount Fedora partition before updating grub. With previous Ubuntu versions this was not required.
