Gnome Suspend on Lid Problems

I'm having suspend on lid close problems with my laptop. In KDE, it works great. In Gnome, I can suspend by clicking "suspend", but it does not suspend when I close the laptop's lid, even though it is set to in gnome-tweak-tool. Any suggestions?

I guess you are using the nvidia drivers?

If that's the case, it is a known bug. The nvidia driver names the laptop monitor differently, so gnome thinks you have an external monitor attached to your laptop and won't suspend on lid-close. It will be fixed... but I don't know when.
