Hey guys...I tried to install the f17 beta to my comp today. Everything seemed to go okay but everything froze when it tried to install the bootloader. I let it sit for 45 mins, then restarted my comp. My comp booted right into windows without an issue, so that means bootloader and grub never got written. I am dual booting with two drives. I put F17 on my F drive now which is missing from windows so I am guessing all the linux stuff is on there. I wrote the bootloader to SDA and the linux install to SDB. Any one have any idea why it got stuck...could it be a bad burn?

I think it's much more probable that's a bug of anaconda (installer) than a bad burn.
Just search for 'bootloader' at https://bugzilla.redhat.com/buglist.cgi?quicksearch=anaconda and you get an idea.
-edit- Offtopic, when I'm using fedora, then a tux appears in my post, now I'm using Slitaz live-cd and a Mac symbol is there :p
(never mind, they configure it with a Mac user agent)

I had a bunch of problems with the TC4 install's bootloader as well. Eventually got it working by letting it install in the / partition and then booting into Ubuntu and mounting that partition, then running sudo update-grub. It picked up the Beefy Miracle and I was able to play.

Didn't have a problem with it. Installed it on 2 virtual machines and now on a test server. So far so good

I'm still trying to boot the live 64b from a unetbootin usb but only get a black screen. Wasn't this edition suposed to already provide a minimal suport for ati graphics cards (in the case, a Radeon HD 5450)?. When trying the graphics safe mode, I'm loged to a console with strange advices to change things. Is there a way to overcame this black screen problem? By the way, the same iso loads and installs fine in virutalbox.
