I usually do not like to mess much with updates -
but this is just great news as certainly the fresh new Fedora 17 will have the new KDE.
Now, I have a greater anticipation for the late spring release of F17 with KDE 4.7.4
I may try the update for this, though I wonder how successful
my now stable Fedora KDE (in F13 and F14) would be in KDE 4.7.4 -

Probably not. In F15 4.7 wasn't provided as a regular update but a separate repo was created to provide it. Maybe the same thing will happen. 4.7.90 is in kde-unstable now.

This is just aweful! Absolutely aweful!! :Y
Here I am, using Ubuntu with Unity and Gnome-shell and contemplating whether to move to KDE, Fedora, openSUSE, Cinnamon or what!
Now Fedora comes out with an updated KDE and makes it harder to decide! :C
I have used Fedora with KDE on my previous laptop so I know how well it works, and how cool it is the KDE updates without having to wait for the next release!
Decisions.. decisions.. :confused::D

I have been using the kde-redhat repository for the latest KDE version in Fedora:
http://kde-redhat.sourceforge.net/
And about KDE: I have had some problems with nepomuk in the 4.8 beta releases, but with 4.8 out, my problems have dissapeared! :)
