Hi

I'm a little bit confused about my HTC Desire i just became.
Well not really about the device itself, but about HTC.

While Android IS a Linux OS, HTC only offers sync SW for Windows :confused:

Well anyhow, due to the laggy Evolution, else beeing a very fine piece of SW, i've change to Slypheed for emails.
But havent found a good compromise between loading speed, nice GUI, usability for managing my appointments yet.
(Havent really needed one until now)

I recall to have read "rsync" several times about this topic, but i dont know nothing about it.

1) Would rsync be the only option to sync my HTC Desire with my F16 machines?
2) Or would i even need to root my HTC to sync the calendar entries properly?
3) Further which are 'recommended' appointment (calendar) planers?

Thank you in advance.
Regards
Simon

So "rsync" is for moving multiple files from one place to another. Not sure if it is a good choice with the Android. I also just got a new phone and will be playing around with it this weekend. It did get Fedora to see the files on it once, but that was an accident. Still be trying though.
