Is there a way to may pcmcia cards be autodetected? (in the way that Winblows does with hot-plugging?) My SUSE 9.1 Personal edition disto had support for that.
If so, how would I do that?

Fedora has hotplug, If you're kernel contains the right drivers for the card and pcmcia_cs can recognize it then it will auto load the drivers.
