Hi everyone,
I'm trying to make a Yamaha crw-f1dx working in firewire mode.
Everytime I connect the external drive I get this error:
Nov 16 08:14:20 kayak wait_for_sysfs[28444]: error: unknown bus, please report to <linux-hotplug-devel@lists.sourceforge.net> 'ieee1394'
Nov 16 08:14:20 kayak wait_for_sysfs[28444]: either wait_for_sysfs (udev 039) needs an update to handle the device '/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1e.0/0000:04:0c.0/fw-host0/805b0600cbb18600' properly (unknown bus) or the sysfs-support of your device's driver needs to be fixed, please report to <linux-hotplug-devel@lists.sourceforge.net>
Nov 16 08:14:21 kayak ieee1394.agent[28455]: ... no drivers for IEEE1394 product 0x/0x/0x
I get the same thing if I "rmmod ohci1394 ieee1394" then "modprobe ohci1394"
Except writing a mail to linux-hotplug-devel@lists.sourceforge.net what else can I try?
thnx!
