ieee1394 yamaha crw-f1dx under fedora core 3

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to make a Yamaha crw-f1dx working in firewire mode.

Everytime I connect the external drive I get this error:

I get the same thing if I "rmmod ohci1394 ieee1394" then "modprobe ohci1394"

Except writing a mail to linux-hotplug-devel@lists.sourceforge.net what else can I try?

Look at my how-to setup a pc for average desktop in the how-to section - it has firewire info in it.
