hello list,
I have a dual boot computer, with FC2 and WinXP installed. They are working fine, but I have two problems with FC2:
- sound problems (no sound);
- it doesn't see my second HD, formatted in FAT32 and that constains only data, no OS;
so, i downloaded the ISO with FC3 and tried the update (I solved the sound problem in another computer with the upgrade). But I got the message "assertion failed ... geometry...", and cancelled the update. So, I have two questions:
- it is safe to proceed with the update?
- do I have to follow the steps described in http://lwn.net/Articles/86835/ ?
