Hi, I'm having this problem since FC3test3 and I hoped it would be solved in the final version, but no luck. This is the thing: I'm running Gnome and I have two LG optical units, a CD-RW (GCE-8523B) and a CD-ROM (GCR-8523B). My CD-RW drive is detected just fine and it works ok, but my CD-ROM unit is detected as a "CD-R" and every time I open the tray without even inserting a disc, FC3 opens the CD/DVD creator, so I can't browse its contents. I have to manually go to "/media/cdrom". I think this is related to HAL or UDEV or some of the new automounting stuff failing to correclty detect my CD-ROM unit. What is weird is that the drive is actually detected as a CD-ROM in both "hwconf" and "/media/cdrom". The problem seems to be when accessing it from the "Computer" desktop icon. Is there any way to manually set my drive as a CD-ROM (not a CD-R)? I've tried disabling everything from gnome-volume-manager with no luck. Thanks for your help!
