G'day folks,
I'm in the process of trying to install FC2 - having issues with GRUB. I've read up on most of the problems, and tried repeatedly to fix it - but I still seem to be having problems.
Right after install - all I would get was "GRUB "<- insert blinky cursor. I followed the instructions for reinstalling grub found in http://www.fedoraforum.org/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=975 - which got me a little farther ahead. I now get farther in - stage 1_5 then it pops up "Error 2" Which according to GRUBS faq is a file not found or is linked - but looking through the grub.conf I can't seem to see any problems.
Everything SEEMS to be where it should be and as it should be. I don't understand what the problem is.
Not sure if it's related - while in the grub command line - using the command "find /boot/grub/stage1" didn't work for me - but it did find results (hd0,0) when I used the command "find /grub/stage1"?
Any thoughts / advice?
