Is it possible to enable auto login feature in KDE? If so, how is it enabled?

You might try as root from a terminaldbus-launch systemsettingsYou can configure your loginmanager from there.

I made the change but it did not work. Allow me to provide more details about what I am doing.
I have a test diagnostic deployed in F14 GNOME. I am hoping to migrate to F15 KDE but I have to satisfy a primary requirement which is to automatically log in as root and not wait for the operator to log in to minimize delays in the test operation. So I am experimenting to see how to configure for this requirement.
So how do I enable autologin for root?

Logging in as root is blocked in Fedora for the obvious security reasons. There are a number of guides on how to allow it. A search should bring up more than you need.

Let me clarify that I am able to log in as root but it is manual. What I want to do is "autologin"
