Hi

I upgraded to FC3 from FC2 and the kernel longer boots since it hangs at configuring kernel! Anybody with suggestions?

I had the same problem...if you have an nvidia card and are using nvidia drivers, disable rhgb from within grub. Have to edit it manually in the grub bootup screen. IIRC, hit e, then edit the line to remove the rhgb part, then hit b to boot.

Worked for me! (tm)

Hi,

I had a similar problem on my TYAN S2885, C3 didn't boot after a clean install. I updated the BIOS to the latest version & everything works fine! Maybe you should check if you have the latest BIOS too.
