Will my fc2 programs still be there if I upgrade to fc3?

It might be a stupid question, Im still learning. Will all my fc2 programs i have still still work with fc3? or will i have to reinstall everything?

Most of the packages will be upgraded if the installer found the newer packages during installation.. however, if you've independant packages installed (non Fedora packages), they'll keep intact. Non Fedora packages should still run without problem.

thanks, that means the ones i compiled from tarballs will also be there too?

Yes. Fedora won't touch those.
