I have a Asus A7X8V mobo with a KT-400 chipset and with a onboard promise controller for the SATA interface. Does FC-3 support this mobo and SATA controller ??

The VIA KT-400 chipset is supported by the 2.6.x kernels and should work.

Thanks. Also does it work with both PATA drives and SATA connected ? Can I transfer files back and forth from both types of drives ?
