I am newbie here. I have installed Lovelock, loved the GNOME 3, and noticed that the kernel 2.6.38 is broken for my system.
In short, my Toshiba Satellite T210 has internal display and two ports for external displays (HDMI and VGA). I am able to log graphically in the box only if I connect an external display to a VGA port, otherwise I see black screen and system halts. After the logging in xrandr shows that I have three displays. If I will disconnect external display, xrandr will show that I have two displays connected while I have only one.
Anyway, I have decided to test 2.6.39 from rawhide. Fortunately it works and the graphics subsystem works much better, but I can't compile VirtualBox-OSE akmod 4.0.4 for the 2.6.39, which is important to me like the ability to graphical login without have externals displays connected.
Please, give me suggestions how I can to compile and to inject VirtualBox kernel module for 2.6.39.
