I've installed f15, when I log in and gnome-shell starts up it will respond for a second and then freezes, works fine in fallback mode.
I tried switching to nouveau but gnome-shell is very slow with it and after 10-20 minutes of use gnome-shell no longer renders properly and the desktop becomes utterly unusable. :(
My graphics card is a GeForce 7300 LE

Now I'm using KDE, everything seems to work well and better than gnome. Nvidia works fine and I have activated kwin.

Hi,
I have a problem with gnome-shell daemon which use a 90 percent of proccess in my computer. My computer is a AMD 3000+ (1.8GHz) with 1 Gb of RAM and integrated video card GForce 6100 of 256 Mb. I think this is a bug with gnome because is not possible that i had have a bigger machine for run Fedora 15.

My computer is a AMD Athlon 64 X2 3600+ (2.0 Ghz) with 3 Gb of RAM and the graphics card is a GeForce 7300 LE. I find no solution to this problem, and I want to use gnome-shell :(

Even you try to install good driver for nvidia.. gnome shell will freeze randomly. this is my experience. Only KDE will work fine. So I switched myself to KDE.

Same happened to me with FC15 Lovelock.
Now I am using Fuduntu & enjoying it.
I hope it will be fixed soon. Gnome 3's new interface is beautiful.
