Matthias has convert most of his rpm to FC3.
To access them create a file called freshrpms.repo in /etc/yum.repos.d
Add the following to /etc/yum.repos.d/freshrpms.repo
[freshrpms]
name=FreshRPMs
baseurl=http://ayo.freshrpms.net/fedora/linux/$releasever/$basearch/freshrpms http://ftp.us2.freshrpms.net/linux/freshrpms/ayo/fedora/linux/$releasever/$basearch/freshrpms
enabled=1
#gpgcheck=1

/etc/yum.repos.d/freshrpms.repo
So you actually have to create each particular file for each repo? Using your example the next repo should be added something like this:
/etc/yum.repos.d/dag.repo
and so on....?? Can you post your /etc/yum.repos.d/ ?? Can this be done with gedit or nano?

I added these lines to my yum.conf to access the yum repository of freshrpms:
[freshrpms]
name=Fedora Linux $releasever - $basearch - freshrpms
baseurl=http://ayo.freshrpms.net/fedora/linux/$releasever/$basearch/freshrpms
gpgcheck=1
afterwards I installed a GPG-key using this command: rpm --import http://svn.rpmforge.net/svn/trunk/rpms/yum/RPM-GPG-KEY-freshrpms

you should now be able to install software of the freshrpms repository. enjoy ;)

hi all, hope not to be a bother, after fiddling with the yum.conf, and messing a few things up, i reinstalled fedora core 3, and just ran a yum list no problems, added the freshemat file, added fine but then followed above post on how to import the gpg key = (afterwards I installed a GPG-key using this command: rpm --import http://svn.rpmforge.net/svn/trunk/r...G-KEY-freshrpms)
and i got a import read failed. error when running that command. , does this matter too much?

thanks!
