Last night we reached our 3000th member since February 2004. This site and community which has grown around it has been a phenominal success over the last few months. I'd just like to thank a few people for their help and support in the period:

Tux (Ewdi) - For setting the place up in the first place, mhelios - For when he posted more than me, Avatraxiom - For merging with us and giving us all the FedoraFAQ (http://www.fedorafaq.org/), All of the Moderating Team - for their hard work and Foolish - for his nagging abilities.

We can only continue to get bigger and stronger with your support, so if you haven't registered yet (as many haven't), why not?

Woho! We are getting quite big and I must say, the quality of this forum has only increased

As I'm not a native english speaker I had to look nagging up in the dictionary to make sure just what you we're thanking me for. Imagine my suprise when this is what I found:

Function: verb
Inflected Form(s): nagged; nag·ging

Etymology: probably of Scandinavian origin; akin to Old Norse gnaga to gnaw; akin to Old English gnagan to gnaw

intransitive senses
1 : to find fault incessantly : COMPLAIN
2 : to be a persistent source of annoyance or distraction

transitive senses
1 : to irritate by constant scolding or urging
2 : BADGER, WORRY

All I have to say about this is that you're most welcome and I'll try to keep it up. :D

I've typically been uncomfortable when playing wth Linux 'cause I never really knew what I was doing and wasn't sure about Forums or where to go to get help with things, but the Fedora Forum has been awsome. I'm just happy it was here to help me with my trek in the Linux World.

Thanks for all your help everyone!

With all of the flaming concerning Red Hat and their creation of Fedora, it is quite nice to see a forum pop up and get so many members in such a short time. A found the sight last night on a Google search and I have to say that I am already hooked. I have been a Red Hat user since 5.2 and a serious user since 7.0, and it is nice to see a community forum when all can collaborate. Here’s to many posts!

Thanks to those of you who created this site!! And a special thanks to all of you who contribute. I've played with linux off and on for the past several years; RedHat 5.2 on up. I recently installed FC1 on my Toshiba Sattelite and am almost windows-free. Found many great tips and tricks here. Someday I hope to be to a level where I can contribute.
