what is ??? exit ?

Hy all.
I found in /var/spool/mail this file
788701 -rw-r--r--. 1 root root 1644 Apr 6 10:27 ???exit
file have exactly the content of iptables configuration file /etc/sysconfig/iptables.


Anyone know something about this, I have been hacked a the hacker copy the file there?

I suspect it is just the result of someone mis-typing a command at the shell. I would just remove it (as root).

(I get weird files like that sometimes when the cat walks across the keyboard...)
