I was wondering if the FC crew has any plans for releasing ISOs for regular non-64bit AMD systems? Or does cpu type really matter with the i386 isos?

well, they dont need to make a specific build for a regular amd chip because they have a build for regular 32 bit proccesors. this build applys to intel chips and amd chips that are not 64bit. I do believe if you compile your own kernel there are some options for optimizing the kernel to your specific chip. I dont remeber exactly now because it was a couple months ago that I did that.

If you compile your kernel : http://www.fedoraforum.org/forum/article.php?a=4 you can change the Inter Processor structure to AMD. But it is only a little increase. Standard things are made to fit for as many PCs as possible.
