This is a major thing people. It's time to start converting your friends, coworkers, family neighbours and everyone else in your life to firefox. The New York Times full page ad will help, in norway we're doing posters in all major cities and I'm sure there's campaigns all over the world. I'm sure there are people all over doing parties and stuff to celebrate too. This is a big day.

You can help, you can. Own a webpage? Put a spreadfirefox button on it. Know of a webpage that doesn't work right i Firefox? Contact the webmaster and help him fix it. Know of someone not using firefox? Tell them to switch, tell them now. Point people to websites such as www.spreadfirefox.com, www.switch2firefox.com

I use Konqueror. Is it worth it for me to switch?

I tried Firefox on my Zaurus a while back, but it was two slow (it may have had to do with the 400mhz X-Scale CPU), then I switched to links (I love that little browser).

Firefox is now the browser of choice at my home though I use Mozilla. The 1.0 version will be late before the launching of Fedora Core 3 which I can't really wait as I already prepare a review for the final release.

It's a bit of shame, then, that FC3 comes out the day before Firefox 1.0 :( Looking at the devel tree, I see 1.0RC1 is there, so at least it's fairly close to 1.0.
