I've been trying to set up sudo for awhile F12 does not have it set up.I get permission denied. In fedora set up,it tells me to; $ su then enter, password; rootpassword(wont let me type anything). The curser disapears. When I enter to the next line I can type again.I would like to know what to do.:

When you enter a password in a terminal in Fedora, the keys that you press are NOT echoed to the screen. You type in the password "in the blind", then press the ENTER key.
