Hi.

I'm using F15 (latest updates) 32bit on Samsung N150 Plus (netbook).

Changing brightness have no efect. I tried with settings (Screen) and via shortcuts. System is detecting that hardware is capable to change brightness and shortcut events are correctly detected (change brightness notification apper) but there is no change.

Any ideas why this is not working?

I tried my old scripts and they are still working (setpci -s 00:02.0 F4.B=<value> where value is 00..ff).

Btw I'm still very irritated about switching screen to black every few seconds (I can't (!) do any presentation). Can you help me with this? 'xset s ...' is not working.

Yeah, don't use a non-official Beta non-released operating system for presentations. Try Fedora 14 for your actual business use and run Fedora 15 on a non-critical machine

That's why I'm testing Fedora 15. At this point there still is a time to fix it or change distribution :) but thanks for advice.
Most my presentations are about new technologies which my company can use in near future like Gnome 3 and GTK+ 3.0 so using F15 beta is good option for me.

The bigger issue is changing brightness. This didn't work in F14 but now at least there is some reaction from OS (in default configuration). Before I make a bug report I want to know if that's really a bug or only some bad config.

From my experince you can try an Ubuntu solution.
I am not.mean to change distro, but in thier forums they have a lod netbook models and they offer solutions for them for thier distro but it worked for.me with fedora too.

Thanks.
Hanan.
