View Full Version : Where are items from old Administration menu ?

In the new Gnome 3 menu system, "System Settings" seems to include items from the old System -> Preferences menu. However, I can not find the equivalent for System -> Administration items: Services, firewall, basically system-config-*
I've found answers saying they are on "System Settings", which they aren't, and that you can navigate to /usr/bin to find them, which is true but isn't exactly friendly.
Are these administrative items simply not on a menu in F15 ?

That's strange, because last time I checked, you could access system-config-* tools by typing their names in GNOME Shell (e.g. fire... for system-config-firewall). Now they are gone.

gnome-screenshot works fine here. The Prt Scr gets the entire screen and Alt Prt Scr get the current window.
However I have noticed a few glitches where it doesn't work sometimes. I had a menu open and couldn't take a screenshot of it. Almost like something else was capturing the keystrokes and not letting gnome have it.
