Trying out Fedora 15 with Gnome shell and loving it right now.
Just one big problem, the binary Nvidia drivers cause the "Activities" animation to be really, really choppy. Everything else is fine except that.
I'd be happy using the Nouveau drivers if only I could get VBlank/VSync enabled. It's easy with the Binary driver, but with the Open Source one I need to add GLXVBlank to xorg.conf I think? Thing is I don't have an xorg.conf, and from what I can work out it's better to use smaller split .confs for only the settings you need to manually adjust, that are stored in xorg.conf.d.
Anyone know what I'd have to add to a file to get vsync working with Nouveau? It's kind of a deal breaker if I can't.
Thanks :)
