I don't know if this is with Firefox or the way it interacts with Fedora 15 or if its some sort of Fedora issue, but firefox is running bad - very slow to hook to many sites (yahoo tends to be dog slow) and crashes often - it being typical to close it and unable to reopen because it claims its still open, right to the point of having to log off and then back on just to get it to run. Only once in a blue moon does Mozilla toss up an error message wanting the use to send a report.

When I run firefox on Ubuntu seem to have fewer problems, although some happen there too.

no problems here with firefox, but it did run slow until I disabled the IPv6 DNS lookup in firefox. (I have also noticed a few instances where clicking on the "x" didn't actually close firefox, either, trying to find a pattern to it so I can file a bug.)

I would try disabling the IPv6 DNS lookup in firefox and see if that helps your problems.

Open a new tab and in the URL box, enter about:config hit enter and answer the nag that you are sure you know what you are doing.

Then in the filter box, enter ipv6

You should get one line that is network.dns.disableIPv6

double click that to toggle the default setting of false to be true

close firefox and restart it. See if that helps some.
