This is the most annoying and time consumming thing i find so far, having to move the mouse to the top left corner to get workspace's to show and to the opposite side get them:dis:,
Is it possible to simply stop the autohide or make it so if i move my mouse to the right they appear (better) or am i missing some simple hidden option like i was on the shutdown having to press the alt key while the mouse was over suspend:C

well, the "super" key (that funky little "windows" key) is already a shortcut to it.
Or since they crippled mouse usage anyway and there is no right or middle click by default now, you could try mapping one of those to do it.

I feel like Gnome is going way into the past by having to use keyboard shortcuts in a GUI.

I guess those shortcuts are to be replaced by gestures on touchscreen interfaces. But this is just dumb considering how scarcely anybody uses gnome with touchscreen devices at the moment...

Hmmmm.
Its behavior is really similar to the way I have my panels set up in Gnome2, so I'll bet there's a tweak for it in the css file. The trick ... is to find it. <..:p..>
