For heavens sake man, don't give us geeks such a bad name. :P
What' you're looking for is called linuxchicks and is a bunch of pictures of your classical good looking models with little to no clothes on. Some teenage, presumably rather new linux users opened their GIMP or photoshop or whatever and added a tux to the underpants, as a tatoo and the like. Yay for photo manipulation.

The LinuxChicks domain was shut down
Read here: http://www.linux-never-looked-this-good.de/
BUT some of the papers can still be found here and there ;)
http://hackersplayground.org/humor/linuxchicks/
**NOTE: some material in the papers could be misread as well hell you'll get it but its all in fun.
ALSO:
http://www.linuxwallpapers.de/
has some less povacative images, but nice to look at none the less.

Nothing wrong with a good hot Linux chick as wallpaper! It makes using a transparent terminal all the more fun! :)

I dont want to start an argument just an opinion. Sharapova the tennis player a few days back approved her billboard and its very sexy. She is only 17 yrs old. Its not always a guy's fault.

Because a lot of ladies do not appreciate that kind of "artwork" - and I don't appreciate it, either - mostly because it's lame, fairly tasteless (especially in a "community" forum), and the pictures are typically rip-offs of copyrighted work.
Y'know, with a remark like that, you come off as a typical insensitive horny net-geek, which is exactly what Emily was lamenting. And, unfortunately, I'm in agreement with her sentiment.

I don't see where the insensitive part comes in horny net-geek I do see however. But in all seriousness give poor mvp a break here he was probably just trying to say that men are often times just attracted to that kind of art work, that it isn't a completely willful thing. I personally don't see why its such a problem when women do the samething....I have seen plenty of vin diesel wallpapers on laptops belonging to women and have heard enough conversations in my few years to know this is true.

Well I didnt know exactly why she had made that setiment, so i asked. And i agree that every pic ive ever seen in those sites are re-done peices of copyrighted material. I personally dont use pics like that for desktop backgrounds. My background actually says 'F*** Capitalism'.

It was the "aww" part - when read, it comes across as condescending and dismissive.
Mat, the "unfortunate" part is that some of the comments in this thread prove her quite right.

well i in no way meant it to come across as condescending, I personally have a fiance and a baby on the way so have no real need for desktop images included in links on this site, as i said earlier i have a certain desktop i like :) , I do appologize for my post earlier if it has in any way offended Emily, as that was not my intention.
